Resumen

The programme will provide participants with an insight into the circular economy, focusing on circular business models. The taught content will be applied in a project-based learning approach supported by lecturers from Aarhus University, the University of Bologna, and the University of Turin. Participants will also increase their skills in problem solving, critical thinking and teamwork.

Estructura del curso

The course will take place in three phases:

Week 1 (22/11/21 – 26/11/21):
During the first phase, participants will be provided with the essential knowledge on circular economy and circular business models. In this phase, a number of case studies will be presented on which the participants will work together in teams.

Week 2 (29/11/21 – 3/12/21):
In the second phase, the formed teams will select one of the case studies presented and work on it to co-create solutions for circularity based on the knowledge gained during the first phase. In this phase they will be provided with the necessary support to design their idea.

Week 3 (6/12/21 – 10/12/21):
Then, during the third phase the teams will present their ideas in a pitch followed by a discussion. The teams with the best and most innovative idea will be awarded.
